After a few years, many complaints, and even more copycats BMW has finally added/updated their iDrive interface. Personally I was expecting a little more, but I guess this will do for now. I was hoping that they would have gotten some sort of multi-touch pad to replace the knob to allow for a more intuitive system, but I guess the one coming out in a few months will be sufficient enough.

Go ahead pick a color…

Well I went to the BMW dealership today to check out the new 3 series BMW. I was hoping my sales advisor would’ve received the 335Ci; however, they only received the 328Ci. In all honesty I think I was expecting more, so I’m sure the 335 will hold up to my expectations. Don’t get me wrong…the design of the new 3 series is really nice! I really liked the new shape, but and the kick the car give was good but I know for a fact it won’t be anything compared to the 335. The sticker on the 328Ci was 40K and some change plus a premium of about 6K dollars.

Just so you know here’s some info on the car.

I’ll go back when my sales advisor calls me, and hopefully this time I’ll know for sure if I want to go with the new 335Ci or say “screw it” and go with a new 5 series.

So this was featured on wired yesterday about the BMW’s new auto park system. This was nice, but as I was reading it I remembered that don’t they have something better than this? And the answer is yes they do. Don’t get me wrong, this is a nice feature but the need of a reflective sensor on the wall…I mean honestly how many parking garages will have such a thing, and in all honesty that’s where you need it the most. Some wanker parked over the lines because they weren’t thinking and now you have to squeeze into a spot that’s literally made for a mini. I think they should have laser beams instead of lines, and if you park over the line and open your door it’ll be like sharks with freaking laser beams attached to their heads!
